Intern Web Development (f/m/d)

Please note: This position is based in Berlin. 

🚀 Your responsibility:

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to implement user-facing features using React.js and TypeScript
  
• Assist in maintaining and improving the codebase by fixing bugs, refactoring components, and improving performance
  
• Learn and apply modern frontend development practices (component-based architecture, hooks, state management, etc.)
  
• Help write and maintain unit and integration tests using tools like Jest and React Testing Library
  
• Participate in code reviews , team meetings, and agile ceremonies to gain exposure to real-world engineering workflows
  
• Contribute to design system implementation by using reusable components and ensuring consistency
  
• Take on well-scoped tasks and ship features with mentorship and support from senior team members
  
• Continuously seek feedback and grow your skills through pairing, documentation, and experimentation

👀 You'll be successful with these skills:

• Basic experience building web applications with HTML , CSS , and JavaScript
• Familiarity with React.js and a desire to learn TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Eagerness to learn and improve — you're comfortable asking questions and exploring solutions
• Some exposure to version control systems, especially Git and GitHub
• Understanding of core frontend concepts like the DOM, events, components, and API calls
• Strong attention to detail and an interest in creating intuitive, accessible user experiences
• A collaborative mindset and clear communication — you're a team player who’s open to feedback
• Bonus: Experience with a framework or tools like Vite, Storybook or any testing framework
