Platform Engineer - top 5% salary band in Europe

We’re building the world’s best AI meeting assistant. We’re an early-stage, fast-moving startup looking for a passionate Platform Engineer to join our core team in Berlin (hybrid/remote possible). You’ll have a massive impact shaping our product and technology.

Jamie is on a mission to create a meaningful product that writes the world’s best meeting notes, powered by AI. We’re driven to eliminate the burden of meeting documentation and unlock insights from conversations. We are an early stage startup working closely with initial customers to build a magical product with real-world impact.

Tasks

We’re seeking a talented and driven Platform Engineer to join our product team. As one of our early engineering hires, you will have significant responsibility and influence over our product direction and engineering culture from day one. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be building our core infrastructure, supporting the team, and helping us scale.

What You Will Be Working On

Build Core Infrastructure: Turn team needs into robust, well-architected infra, observability solutions and developer tools.

Shape the Product: Work closely with the founders and the team to improve the product by implementing tracking and attribution systems, creating holistic overview of user journeys and identifying the issues in production.

Ensure Robustness: Automate monitoring and incident response, create best-in-class observability, help us meet our SLAs.

Requirements

Strong Systems Mindset: You care deeply about creating robust systems that solve real business problems and allow the team to move faster.

Production Experience: Experience with running large-scale distributed systems with queues, database shards and vast surface area. We expect you to be familiar with the core services of GCP/AWS/Cloudflare.

Proven Engineering Skills: You have experience building and shipping software. We value seeing side projects or past work! (e.g., 2+ years of development experience preferred).

Adaptable & Fast Learner: You thrive in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements and can quickly pick up new technologies.

Location Preference: Willingness to work from our Berlin Mitte office several days a week is preferred, but remote options can be discussed.
