Influencer & Social Media Marketing Intern

As an Influencer & Social Media Marketing Intern, you will support two connected sides of our marketing engine, influencer operations and content creation, focusing on the Italian market. You will split your time roughly evenly between live influencer campaigns and our organic presence across social media and blog, helping run and localize content while learning how a premium DTC brand connects creator work to real e-commerce results.

PERGOLUX designs and sells Scandinavian-inspired outdoor living products, from pergolas to garden furniture, directly to consumers. We are a company that has grown consistently across Europe and beyond, with around 300 employees, a 9-figure revenue, and operations across 8 markets, working as one international team.

What You'll Do

Influencer & Creator (~50%)

• Own influencer negotiations, creator follow-ups, and product logistics, and draft creator communications for review before they go out.

• Prepare content briefing documents, timelines, and delivery checklists, and keep influencer trackers and campaign documentation accurate and up to date.

Social & Content (~35%)

• Draft and schedule social media posts, contribute to the content calendar with posts and campaign ideas and formats, and help write and format blog articles.

• Track organic and creator performance for weekly reporting, support discount code and UTM link setup, and use AI tools to scale content production.

Localization (~15%)

• Support the adaptation of marketing materials (website copy, ad campaigns, blog posts, and creator briefs) to ensure cultural relevance and tone consistency across target markets.

• Assist in coordinating shared content requests between central marketing and regional teams.
  

What You’ll Learn

• The mechanics of managing end-to-end creator campaigns, ranging from initial outreach and briefing to final delivery and impact reporting.

• How to bridge organic and creator work with tangible e-commerce results using UTM tracking, discount codes, and weekly performance analysis.

• Practical experience in cross-market localization, ensuring content maintains the right tone and cultural relevance for the Italian audience.

What You'll Bring

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in marketing, communications, design, or a related field.

• Italian and English at C1 level with a genuine eye for content and comfort writing across platforms

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage two workstreams at once once trained.

• Comfort working in spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and content tools, plus the willingness to learn new ones quickly.

• Nice to have: personal or academic content projects (portfolio welcome), basic photo/video editing (Canva, Figma), a further language (German or French), or prior internship experience in social media or content.
  

Compensation — €14 - €16 gross per hour

Growth and Career Development — You will take on real ownership from the start with direct impact on live campaigns, backed by fast-track career opportunities to grow into more senior marketing roles as PERGOLUX scales.
