Senior Associate, M&A

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Associate, M&A to join the Global M&A and Investments team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences. This role will be based in Berlin.

The team is circa 7-9 members, led by Global Head of M&A who reports directly to the CEO. We are responsible for origination and execution of all M&A transactions at Delivery Hero globally - including (but not limited to) acquisitions, divestitures and investments. We support Delivery Hero management board and supervisory board with M&A-related planning, decision-making and potential ad-hoc projects / topics as needed.

• Support overall project management (including collaboration with advisors) and execution for M&A transactions
• Independently manage valuation, commercial and financial due diligence and documentation review activities
• Analyze key business drivers, prepare relevant business cases and models in order to present M&A transactions to the management and supervisory board
• Support post-merger-integration activities, together with other cross-functional business teams at Delivery Hero
• Support senior management in the development of M&A strategy via the ad-hoc reports, business cases or other critical topics as needed

Qualifications

• You have 3+ years of prior experience in either of Investment Banking, the M&A advisory function of Big4, private equity or in-house M&A and corporate development
• You studied business administration, corporate finance, economics, engineering or a business-related degree
• You feel comfortable in a very dynamic, fast-moving, high–pressure and entrepreneurial environment
• You are highly motivated, a good learner and willing + able to take on significant responsibilities early on
• You are a strong team player and are able to communicate well
• You are fluent in English
