Procurement Specialist Renewable Energy

Tasks

As a Procurement Specialist , you will manage the operational procurement activities for our PV and BESS co-location projects in Germany. You will lead supplier coordination, support tender processes, and help establish and optimize local procurement structures in close collaboration with our EPC partner company.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, construction teams, subcontractors, and other contractors
• Lead negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, and contractual conditions
• Prepare supplier comparisons and commercial evaluation reports
• Ensure timely availability of materials and services in line with project schedules and cash flow requirements
• Coordinate technical requirements and delivery scopes with internal engineering and project teams
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a procurement database tailored to the German market
• Conduct supplier and market research to identify qualified and competitive vendors
• Support tender processes, including document management, pricing requests, and contract finalization
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to the optimization of procurement processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, preferably within construction, EPC, or renewable energy projects
• Strong negotiation skills with a structured, analytical, and detail-oriented working style
• Excellent MS Excel skills; experience with ERP and procurement tools is an advantage
• Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
