The Role

To drive this vision, we’re seeking an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer (TypeScript) who has a passion for building products from the ground up, owning them end to end, across the stack.
You'll be part of our core tech team that will lay the foundation of our platform and is driven by low hierarchies and high impact. We're headquartered in Berlin, offering a remote-friendly environment.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will:

• Actively shape the platform’s architecture and influence key product decisions.
• Build the backbone of a tax infrastructure that will make taxes easier for all Europeans.
• Enable fintechs to offer and create their own tax tools by integrating our system.

Tasks

Your Responsibilities

• Hands-on Ownership: Take full ownership of designing, implementing, and scaling the foundation of our platform from scratch.
• Architect & Execute : Make key architectural decisions and build scalable systems that are robust, reliable, and maintainable under load.
• Feature Delivery : Ship new features at high velocity without compromising code quality, reliability, or performance.
• Culture Building : Play a key role in fostering a high-performing, collaborative engineering culture as we scale the team.

Requirements

Your Profile

• Frontend Experience : At least 3 years of experience with frontend Development (e.g., using Next.js and React).
• Backend Experience : At least 5 years of experience with Backend Development (e.g., using TypeScript and Nest.js/Node.js).
• Zero-to-One Engineering: You’ve built and shipped at least one full-stack product completely by yourself from scratch, owning both Frontend and Backend.
• Embrace AI-Enhanced Development: You're already using AI tools to 10x your development speed while maintaining full control and code quality.
