Junior Automation Specialist (m/f/x)

We are looking for a dynamic and result driven Junior Automation Specialist (m/f/x) to support the development and optimization of the operational systems behind our co-ownership offering. In this role, you will work closely with product leads, operations and engineering to help improve how we acquire, launch, manage and operate vacation properties through technology. You’ll help shape key platform features and processes that ensure a smooth and scalable customer experience.

Tasks

Workflow Automation:

• Build, maintain, and optimize automated workflows across different departments (operations, sales, customer service, finance, etc.).
• Use tools such as Make.com, n8n, Zapier (or similar platforms) to design integrations between systems.
• Ensure automations are reliable, scalable, and well-documented.

Process Analysis & Optimization:

• Identify bottlenecks and repetitive tasks within existing business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical automation solutions.
• Continuously evaluate and improve workflows for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

Tool & Platform Management:

• Manage connections and integrations between platforms like Salesforce, Slack, Google Workspace, Atlassian and other SaaS tools.
• Explore and recommend new automation tools and approaches to strengthen our internal knowledge across the teams..

Support & Enablement:

• Provide support for colleagues using automated workflows.
• Educate teams on automation best practices and empower them to leverage no-code solutions.
• Document processes and create simple guides for non-technical users.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Act as a bridge between operations, acquisition, asset management, engineering, and Salesforce teams.
• Ensure transparent communication of priorities, progress, and outcomes.

Requirements

• First experience in automation: Experience (internships, projects, or junior roles) with no-code/low-code tools such as Make.com, Zapier, or n8n.
• Technical curiosity: Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data flows. Willingness to learn more deeply.
• Problem solver: You enjoy breaking down complex processes and finding smart, automated solutions.
• Structured mindset: Ability to manage multiple workflows and projects in parallel.
• Collaboration skills: Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.
• Languages: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus).
