Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help support our DevOps team. You will be responsible to support a team of talented DevOps engineers to ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure. You will bring your knowledge to ensure a smooth integration of software releases into our production environments.

Your Tasks

• Join technical discussions with our stakeholders (developers as well as the business teams)
• Train development teams and serve as a mentor and support system for developers using DevOps techniques
• Ensure and improve the availability, performance, and scalability of our infrastructure
• Promote practices like CI/CD and infrastructure as a code
• Drive the automation and standardization of our processes

Your Profile

• An open mind and creative approach to problem solving with open source-based solutions
• Guiding and enabling people is a plus
• 3+ years of experience working in a DevOps/SRE/Cloud Infrastructure role
• Experience working with open-source infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Experience working with the Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of monitoring and performance analysis of systems and applications (e.g., Zabbix, InfluxDB, Grafana, ...) as well as of automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Rundeck, ...)
• Hands-on experience in non-cloud technologies is a plus
• Knowledge in Linux, Python, and Kubernetes
• Fluent in English; German Language is a plus
