We are looking for a

Solution Engineer (m/f/d)

for our customer Essentry GmbH

Your day at a glance:

Provide technical due diligence for customers, potential customers, consultants and channel partners

Map customer requirements to our platform's existing configuration and integration options, and show how the platform fits into their IT landscape

Assist the sales process by providing technical knowledge and architecture assessments

Complete customer security questionnaires and RFPs

Act as the technical point of contact for customers' IT and information security teams during reviews of our platform

Provide feedback from the field to help improve our processes

Work at the intersection of Sales, Engineering and Customer Success, making sure customer requirements, technical feasibility and delivery plans stay aligned from first contact to go-live

Share requirements our platform doesn't cover yet with Engineering as clear, prioritized input based on what you see in the field

Ensure a smooth handover to Customer Success, so solution designs, agreed integrations and open points carry over into the rollout

Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, integration guides, architecture overviews and a reusable library of answers for questionnaires and RFPs

Deploy and manage Proofs of Concepts for enterprise customers

What makes you a great fit:

Interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at different levels

Technical knowledge or specialty knowledge in Access Control, Cloud Architecture

Solid understanding of information security principles and the ability to explain our security architecture clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

Experience managing technical pre-sales processes with a team of sales professionals

Comfortable working across teams and keeping Sales, Engineering and Customer Success on the same page

Structured way of working and enjoy turning complex technical topics into clear, reusable documentation

Enthusiastic, self-starter with a charismatic personality

Strong desire to grow professionally

An asset if you have:

Previous experience with Access Control Systems like Genetec, C-Cure, Lenel, Gallagher, Honeywell Pro-Watch etc.

Previous experience designing enterprise access control solutions

Advanced knowledge in networking technology and architecture

Experience with ISO 27001 and related frameworks such as BSI IT-Grundschutz, SOC 2 or NIST
