Working Student IT Workplace (f/m/d)

getolo is looking for a Workplace IT Working Student (f/m/d)for 20 hours a week to support day-to-day IT operations and serve as a first point of contact for internal IT requests.
This role is well suited for students who want hands-on experience in IT support within a modern company environment.

Responsibilities

Core Tasks

• Provide on-site first-level IT support for standard, well-documented issues
  (e.g. password resets, basic hardware and software problems)
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes based on defined checklists and under supervision
• Handle hardware distribution, collection, and inventory maintenance
• Create and maintain user-facing and internal IT documentation
• Escalate complex or non-standard issues to L2/L3 IT administrators or the IT Lead
• Act as the first point of contact for employees across all departments regarding IT-related issues
• Coordinate with People & Culture / HR on onboarding and offboarding processes
• Escalate security-related topics or incidents to the Security Lead
• Work closely with the Workplace IT team and follow defined IT processes and escalation paths

Requirements

Must-have

• Enrolled student in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Management, Business Informatics , or a comparable technical or STEM-related study programme
• Structured and reliable working style with the ability to follow processes and documentation
• Service-oriented mindset and clear communication skills
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate within a team
• Fluent English

Nice-to-have

First experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical operations
(e.g. student job, internship, apprenticeship, or private projects)

Familiarity with common workplace tools such as:

• Google Workspace
• Microsoft 365
• Slack
• MDM solutions (e.g. Jamf, Kandji, Intune)
• Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)

Basic experience with device setup, troubleshooting, or account management
