We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer / Enterprise Customer Engineer to join our fast-growing team.

One Click LCA’s carbon accounting and reduction SaaS platform is used in over 170 countries and is growing rapidly. We target construction and built environment (where we are the global leader) and manufacturing verticals, responsible for nearly half of global carbon emissions.

Our vision is that the industry will manage carbon as it manages cost: measuring, reporting, and reducing carbon as a standard business practice. One Click LCA provides practical solutions to make this happen.

You will join a supportive, effective, and mission-oriented team in a flexible, friendly and international work environment and have a great deal of autonomy in your role.

This full-time, permanent position is available on a remote basis for candidates based in Europe. 

What you will do:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of our API product roadmap.
• Take ownership of implementing changes and improvements to our APIs.
• Act as the technical single point of contact for issues with our API products.
• Support the sales team in API-related discussions and questions.
• Guide and support clients in integrating their systems and processes with our APIs.
• Ensure integrations follow best practices in API security, performance, and usability.
• Help test, debug, and monitor APIs to ensure reliability and high quality.

What you need:

• Strong experience designing and building APIs – ideally as standalone products.
• Profound understanding of REST, OpenAPI (Swagger), and related standards and practices.
• Solid technical background with hands-on development skills (Java and Python preferred).
• Ability to identify and design high-quality APIs that are clean, consistent, and easy to use.
• Experience with complex system integrations across teams and platforms.
• Knowledge of API security and performance best practices.
• Strong skills in testing, debugging, and automating API validation and monitoring.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities to explain APIs clearly.
• Willingness to engage with customers and work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
