You’ll take ownership of key features within our mobile platform, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to create seamless experiences for millions of users worldwide. We prefer candidates to be based in Berlin, as we encourage everyone to join us in the office at least two days a week to foster collaboration and team spirit.

What You'll Do

• Develop Quality Code: Write clean, secure, and reusable code.

• Create Modular Components: Build modular components that can be shared across multiple applications.

• Enhance User Experience: Strive to deliver a delightful user experience and maximize application performance.

• Technology Decisions: Choose the right tools for the job and participate in discussions about different technologies.

• Lead and Mentor: Join and lead discussions about architectural and low-level decisions, sharing your expertise and learning from others.

• Collaborate: Work closely with product management, development, and UX teams in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

What You'll Bring

• Kotlin Proficiency : Deep knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android development best practices

• UI Craftsmanship : Experience building complex user interfaces and animations; familiarity with Jetpack Compose is a plus

• Modular Mindset : Background in developing reusable modules across multiple applications

• Test-Driven Approach : Skilled in writing robust automated tests - unit, UI, and integration

• Adaptability : Comfortable picking up new tools, frameworks, and languages as needed

• Team Mentality : A supportive, collaborative approach that helps everyone do their best work

Who You Are

• Experienced Developer : 6+ years of professional experience in native Android app development

• Proficient in Kotlin : Solid expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development

• UI Expertise : Experience building complex user interfaces and smooth animations; familiarity with Jetpack Compose is a plus

• Modular Development : Experience building reusable modules across multiple apps is a plus

• Test-Driven : Skilled in writing automated tests (unit tests, UI tests, integration tests)

• Fast Learner : Willingness and ability to pick up new languages and frameworks when required

• Team Player : Enjoys working in a collaborative environment and supporting colleagues

• Fluent in English : Proficient in both written and verbal communication
