Junior Account Executive (DACH) – Founding Team / Employee #3 Location: Berlin (Hybrid/Remote) Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 Base + Uncapped Commission

The Opportunity: From Zero to One EQL are recruiting on behalf of a Nordic EdTech scale-up that has already conquered Scandinavia (80% market share), the UK, and US. Now, they are launching in Germany. We are looking for Employee #3 to join their Berlin-based leadership team.

We don’t need a veteran with 10 years of experience. We need a hunter with energy, grit, and the ambition to build a market from scratch.

This is not a standard "cog in the machine" corporate role. You will be on the front lines, pitching to German School Authorities ( Schulträger ) and helping us build the German sales playbook.

What you will do (The Grind & The Glory):

• Hunt: You will identify, contact, and close new schools and municipalities across Germany. Cold calling and creative outreach are your daily fuel.
• Build: You aren’t just following a process; you are helping write it. You will test messaging, find decision-makers, and learn what works in the German public sector.
• Demo: You will present the solution to school leaders and procurement officials, conducting online and in-person demos.
• Travel: You will represent the business at trade fairs (Didacta, etc.) and visit key stakeholders across the DACH region.

Requirements

Who you are:

• Native German Speaker: You must communicate flawlessly in German (C2) with public sector officials. English fluency is required for internal comms.
• Hungry & Resilient: You handle rejection well. You don’t wait for leads to be given to you; you go out and find them.
• 0-2 Years Experience: You are either a fresh graduate with a fire in your belly or an SDR/BDR looking for your first closing role.
• Coachability: You want to learn. You are ready to be trained in world-class SaaS sales methodologies.
• The "X-Factor": Maybe you played competitive sports, ran a university club, or started a side hustle. You have a track record of pushing yourself.
