ABOUT THE TEAM

The Legal Team is more than just a legal team: it's a part of business design and an overall representitive of the company at large. The team provides support in line with corporate law, contracts, labor, competition, transportation and regulatory requirements to meet the day-to-day needs of other teams.

We are all working with the same purpose: To create a positive impact in our ecosystem by enabling commerce through technology.

• Support the Privacy and Data Governance team in implementing data protection and privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR, local laws).
• Assist in reviewing and maintaining data inventories, records of processing activities (RoPAs), and data flow mappings.
• Help evaluate and implement privacy tech tools (e.g., consent management, data subject request management).
• Conduct research on privacy topics, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies and update internal tech slack channels.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, and business teams to embed privacy by design & default into systems and processes.
• Support with documentation, reporting, and audit preparations.

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Law, IT, Business Informatics, Data Science, Information Security, or similar).
• Strong interest in data privacy, data protection, and/or data governance topics.
• Basic understanding of data privacy and technical affinity are both a big plus.
• Analytical mindset and structured working style.
• Good communication skills in English (German is optional).
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn in a cross-functional, international environment.

We offer a hybrid model that combines the productivity of remote work with the bonding and collaboration of in-office work. Teams are expected to work from our offices on designated days each week, fostering team spirit, creativity and cross team collaboration as part of our culture.

We also provide a summer working model, with a two-month fully remote work opportunity during July and August.

The hybrid working model only applies to hybrid roles; on-site roles require regular office presence.
