Tasks

About the Role

We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to join us in building the future of skincare AI — no matter your background or gender identity, if you’re excited about our mission, we’d love to hear from you. While this is a founding-level role, day-to-day it’s a mix of senior full-stack engineering, product thinking, and a bias for shipping.

• Build product end-to-end (frontend + backend)
• You own the stack - You take responsibility over the codebase and move with urgency/high velocity.
• Write and connect APIs, work with Supabase and other microservices
• Deploy webapps to AWS, currently with infra in ECS and Amplify
• Collaborate closely with CEO and CTO on product development, access domain-knowledge from our dermatologist CMO
• Join a small, hands-on team where everyone still wears multiple hats

Tech Stack

• Frontend: Next.js, React, TypeScript
• Backend: Python, Supabase, Node
• Infra: AWS (ECS, Amplify), Clerk, GitHub
• AI: PyTorch, OpenAI
• Product Analytics: Posthog

• You’re a senior engineer with strong full-stack experience
• You love building real features for real users
• You’re comfortable owning things end-to-end (infra included)
• You’re product-minded and lean by default
• You want to work in person in Berlin with a small, driven team
• Bonus: you've worked with AR, computer vision, camera-intensive web applications, or Next.js before

What might make this less of a match

• You strongly prefer working fully remotely (we’re mostly on-site in Berlin + Potsdam)
• You’re just starting out and haven’t worked on software teams yet
• You only want to work with specific technologies instead of the entire development stack
• You thrive in large teams with more structure — we’re still lean and hands-on
