Who we are looking for:

The Senior Performance Marketing Manager will manage our Google Ads and Meta campaigns, while supported by the current team members. The role is responsible for ensuring an efficient and effective spend across campaigns and accounts, improving our tracking methods and elevating the other team member expertise. Additional focus of this position will be expanding our Linkedin and Reddit campaigns.

The Senior Performance Marketing Manager reports directly to the Head of Marketing and Analytics and works closely with the other marketing team members and other internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Orchestration & Scaling

  • Google & Meta Management: Take the ownership of the strategy, setup, and optimization for Google Ads (Search, PMax, Display) and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram).

  • Budget & Spend Efficiency: Ensure every euro is spent effectively by monitoring pacing, adjusting bids, and managing cross-channel budget allocation to hit CAC/CPL targets.

  • Channel Expansion: Unlock LinkedIn and Reddit as scalable growth drivers by developing platform-specific media strategies.

  • Targeting: Make sure to target the right audience via the right channel in most effective way

Technical Infrastructure & Analytics

  • Advanced Tracking: Improve and maintain the tracking setup (e.g., Server-Side API, GA4, GTM) to ensure data accuracy in a privacy-first world.

  • Reports: Own the development and maintenance of automated real-time dashboards (e.g. via Looker Studio)

  • Data-Driven Attribution: Move beyond simple metrics to analyze how different channels interact, ensuring a holistic view of the customer journey.

  • A/B Testing Frameworks: Implement a rigorous testing roadmap for landing pages, ad copy, and creative assets to constantly find "winners."

Team Work

  • Mentorship: Actively "elevate" the expertise of current team members through regular 1-on-1s, knowledge sharing, and technical workshops.

  • Team collaboration: provide data-driven feedback to creative briefs to ensure high-performing assets.

  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement standardized workflows, reporting templates, and "best practice" playbooks for the department.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex campaign data into actionable business insights for management, justifying spend and highlighting growth opportunities.

Required Skills And Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in Google Ads AND Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram)

  • You have independently planned, set up, tested, and scaled campaigns

  • You think in terms of funnels, budgets, and target audiences , not just CTRs and clicks

  • You work in a data-driven, structured manner with a strategic mindset

  • Knowledge of GTM and the Server-Side API (CAPI) for Meta and Enhanced Conversions for Google

  • Solid understanding of the Weiterbildung landscape in Germany

  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently. Good level of German is a plus

Plus: experience launching campaigns on LinkedIn and Reddit
