Your Mission:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our mission team and play a pivotal role at the intersection of system engineering, flight software, and customer payload. In this position, you will serve as the interface between the payload provider, the mission team, and the Flight Software (FSW) team, helping to drive successful software development and integration for our space missions.

• Serve as the primary interface between the mission team, the flight software team, and the payload provider.
• Translate and refine system-level requirements into detailed software subsystem requirements.
• Support the mission managers and software team leads in planning, coordinating, and tracking software-related work packages.
• Lead the software development and integration of payload software, ensuring compatibility and functional alignment with the overall system.
• Define and execute verification strategies to ensure software requirements are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in requirements engineering, traceability, and compliance processes.

Your Background:

• 5+ years of experience in embedded software engineering, ideally in aerospace or related high-reliability domains.
• Demonstrated experience in working with requirements: elicitation, flow-down, verification, and traceability.
• Experience in programming with C, Python, as well as real-time operating systems and embedded Linux.
• Hands-on experience with flight software development and verification is a big plus.
• Prior work on commercial space missions is a plus.
• Knowledge of ECSS standards and best practices (e.g., ECSS-E-ST-40, ECSS-Q-ST-80, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) or digital engineering tools.
