We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Team Lead - IT Platform & Application Engineering (m/w/d) to join our team as soon as possible.

Your mission

You take on the technical and disciplinary leadership of two engineering teams (3 people each) and foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Together with department leadership, you develop the strategic roadmap for our internal platform and application landscape.
You plan, manage, and take responsibility for technical projects from concept to successful completion while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
You actively drive the automation of our infrastructure, especially through the use of Infrastructure as Code.
You support your team in developing and delivering scalable, robust, and user-friendly internal applications.
You act as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders such as development teams, product management, or security, ensuring smooth information flow between departments.
You coordinate the handling of technical requests and ensure your team has the right conditions in place to work efficiently.

Your profile

You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
You bring several years of professional experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Software Development, and have already gained initial technical or disciplinary leadership experience, for example, as a Team Lead, Tech Lead, or in a similar role.
Your technological home is Linux systems and container platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift). You are confident working with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and have experience designing CI/CD pipelines.
You embrace and promote agile ways of working (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and help your team grow with a methodical mindset.
As a leader, you stand out through excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a motivating hands-on mentality.
A strong customer and service orientation is the foundation of your approach to successful IT work.
You have business-fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
