THE ROLE

This position is based in the Legal Department and reports to the General Counsel. The core responsibility is the (AI-supported) establishment, maintenance, and further development of the Contract Management System (CMS) for the Legal Department. The position extends beyond the Legal Department and works in coordination with the operational departments to achieve organization-wide harmonization and continuous improvement of contract processes.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Management of the contract database: Entry, storage, and ongoing maintenance of all contracts for the Legal Department in the Contract Management System (CMS), which will be AI-supported in the future.
• Data quality management: Ensuring uniform data entry standards, identifying and resolving data inconsistencies, and ensuring data availability.
• Key user role: Helping to design and optimize the electronic workflow for contract creation and management, including digital signatures; creating documentation and guidelines; training and supporting users.
• Subject Matter Expert Role: Actively contributing to the standardization and acceleration of contract processes across all sub-areas.
• Contract Controlling: Monitoring automated notifications regarding notice periods, contract expirations, and invoicing; developing new controlling tools and reports, including dashboards.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Completed vocational training in business or administration, or a comparable qualification. A degree in business law is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of contract management and contract processes; basic knowledge of contract law.
• Good to very good knowledge of a CMS.
• Confident handling of data quality requirements and data standardization, particularly through the use of appropriate AI tools.
• Analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and a high degree of personal responsibility.
• Strong communication skills and a pronounced focus on service and consulting.
• Discretion and sensitivity in handling confidential data.
• Fluency in both German and English.
