We’re now looking for an Accountant (d/f/m) to join our Financial Accounting & Controlling team in Berlin.

You will :

• Own important accounting topics end-to-end

• Actively drive improvements instead of just maintaining the status quo

• Work closely with FP&A, Legal, HR and our Central Finance teams in Amsterdam and Barcelona

What you’ll do :

• Prepare month-, quarter- and year-end closes in line with IFRS and German GAAP (HGB)

• Independently prepare statutory financial statements under HGB

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy

• Support external audits and communicate with auditors and German authorities

• Partner with the business on tax, billing and accounting topics

• Identify opportunities to optimize and simplify accounting processes

What you bring :

• 4–5+ years of professional experience with a strong accounting focus

• Degree in Accounting, Controlling, Finance or a related field

• Strong German GAAP (HGB) knowledge (big plus: solid understanding of IFRS)

• Experience in closing processes and compliance

• Experience with accounting systems (ideally SAP S4)

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical mindset

• High attention to detail combined with business thinking

• Confidence to communicate complex financial topics clearly

• Business fluent German and strong English skills
