About the team
The Foundation and Intelligent Transformation (FIT) group is one of three groups in the engineering department at SAP Signavio. We value consistency, modularity, re-usability, and simplicity. We strive for a coherent user experience across the entire product suite and an effective and efficient cross-product development experience. To this effect, our teams provide and advance the core functionalities of our process transformation platform as well as transformation enabling capabilities.
About the Role
As part of the FIT group, the Platform Services teams focus on the foundational functionalities of our entire product suite. The foundational services include authentication and identity lifecycle management, and the efficient management of roles, licenses, and access, enabling a reliable and scalable platform.
As a Senior User Experience Designer in this area, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our enterprise-grade process platform, directly contributing to the success and growth of SAP Signavio.
In this role, you will be joining to lead and support, from a design and user experience perspective, the product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery, working closely with a Product Manager, Development Manager, and a Tech Lead to ensure the desirability and usability of our product.

What you will do:
- Join Platform Services and lead the discovery and improvement of end-to-end customer experiences, collaborating with product teams. Your contributions will ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience for our foundational services.
- Collaborate with Product Leaders, Product Managers, Tech Leads, and fellow Designers across our product teams to define and drive the UI/UX strategy for our foundational services. You'll ensure alignment with our product suite vision and strategic objectives (e.g. consistent UX and software reuse).
- Be an evangelist and advocate of product standards and design best practices while helping us to adopt, improve and contribute to the evolution of our suite.
- Maintain a curious mindset, embracing creativity, innovation, and change, with the ability to quickly learn and comprehend complex topics.
- Be accountable for ensuring the solution is usable, i.e., users can truly experience the product’s value. Take ownership for identifying the usability risks and come up with mitigation plan.
- Innovate by leveraging diverse discovery techniques to accelerate insight gathering and proactively drive essential research with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Would be great if you have:
- Proven experience (typically 3–5 years) in user experience or interaction design, preferably in a complex Business-to-Business domain.
- The ability to rapidly understand highly complex IT systems and technical requirements, utilizing domain expertise to create clear, user-centered, and scalable designs.
- Evident skills around user experience methods, skills, and frameworks like creating prototypes, forming information architecture, and creating UX and UI specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of methodology and practical experience running user experience research and synthesis.
- Profound understanding of design systems and how to use them to drive consistency across capabilities.
- Strong ability to self-organize your work, communicate clearly with stakeholders across teams, and engage with customers.
- Dedication to being a good team player with the ability to engage, motivate and give feedback to others.
- A passion for and comfort designing user experiences for foundational services such as identity and access management.
