Business Development Representative
About the Role
This is a hands-on Business Development Representative role on a small, fast-growing go-to-market team at a post-seed AI SaaS company focused on wholesale distribution. You'll own prospecting end-to-end, help shape how the company sells into an underserved industry, and get early exposure to company-building and cross-functional decision-making.
What You'll Do
Own the full prospecting pipeline — from outreach to closing — via phone, email, and social media with wholesale decision-makers.
Test and optimize outbound and inbound lead generation, iterating quickly and cutting what isn't working.
Become the in-house expert on the product, the wholesale market, and customer needs to persuade rather than pitch.
Independently research B2B prospects and build sales materials and presentations that resonate.
Write and refine call scripts and communication templates, and share learnings through internal training sessions.
Identify and adopt AI tools to move faster and experiment with new approaches across the sales process.
Take early ownership in shaping messaging, GTM strategy, and customer-facing processes.
What We're Looking For
0–7 years of professional experience in B2B SaaS sales or a closely related field.
Comfort with core outreach channels — phone, email, and social media — and a willingness to build processes from scratch.
Tech-savvy mindset and/or genuine interest in the industrial or wholesale sector.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English (required).
Ability to research prospects independently and craft compelling sales materials and presentations.
Strong customer-facing skills: you enjoy talking to customers, can persuade effectively, and are dependable.
Goal-oriented, resilient, and energised by the ambiguity of an early-stage environment.
Location
On-site in Berlin, Germany . Candidates must be fully eligible to work in Berlin without visa sponsorship.
