Visiting Analyst - Investment Team

Planet A Ventures is a Greentech Venture Capital fund supporting startups that have a measurable positive impact on our planet while building profitable, scalable businesses. We want to contribute to an economy that operates within the planetary boundaries.

• Duration: 6 months
• Employment: Full-time internship (40 hours/week)
• Location: Berlin / Remote within EU time zone
• Start Date: Ideally from Mid-August 2025

Tasks

• Support and work closely with our Investment Team
• Screen and distribute inbound deal flow, providing the Investment Team with visibility of high-priority cases
• Ensure accurate data management and administration in our CRM tool
• Support external communications with founders and investors by drafting follow-up emails and scheduling discussions
• Dive into industries and technologies by performing deep dives and market research to contribute to the Planet A thesis building process
• Act as a point of contact between the Investment and Data teams, drafting specifications for automation tools and communicating user requirements
• Represent Planet A at events and on social media

Requirements

• You have a degree in computer science, engineering, business, economics, finance, natural sciences or a similar field.
• You have spent time in entrepreneurial environments — whether at a startup, a fund, or a builder-focused ecosystem. Bonus points if you’ve worked in climate or deep tech.

Skills

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of Venture Capital principles and early-stage business models
• Fluent in English, a second language is a plus
• Fluent user of Google Suite, Affinity, Slack and Notion
