About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and structured Product Manager to join Finom’s Security & Authorisation team within the FCRM & Security domain. In this role, you will help ensure that Finom remains a safe and trusted platform for entrepreneurs across Europe, where strong protection and a smooth user experience go hand in hand.

You will work across three main areas: Application Security, Signing and Authorisation mechanisms, and Customer Protection. Your mission is to keep Finom’s systems secure to the highest standards, while ensuring that every security measure serves rather than hinders our customers. You will help design protections that are robust yet invisible, safeguarding users without creating friction.

Together with a dedicated engineering team and under the guidance of the Head of Product, Financial Crime & Security, you will turn complex security and compliance requirements into intuitive, reliable product solutions.

This position is ideal for someone technically minded, passionate about user protection, and eager to find the optimal balance between security standards and customer experience. • Contribute to the product strategy and roadmap for Security & Authorisation, focusing on both protection and customer experience.
• Work with engineers and security experts to strengthen application security, addressing vulnerabilities and improving system resilience.
• Develop and enhance authentication and authorisation mechanisms, including login, multi-factor authentication, device management, and signing flows.
• Support customer protection initiatives, building safeguards against third-party fraud while keeping access easy and smooth for legitimate users.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of security features.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog, transforming technical requirements and internal feedback into actionable tasks.
• Collect feedback from customers and internal teams to identify pain points and guide decisions that protect users without adding unnecessary friction.
• Use data and user insights to measure the impact of security improvements and propose optimisations.
• Stay informed about emerging trends in authentication, fintech security, and usability best practices.

• You have 2–4 years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to security, authentication, or technical infrastructure.
• You understand how web and mobile applications work and can discuss implementation details confidently with engineers.
• You are passionate about protecting customers and believe that the best security solutions are the ones that users barely notice.
• You are structured and delivery-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities and maintaining clarity in execution.
• You enjoy turning technical challenges into clear, customer-focused product outcomes.
• You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and can explain complex ideas simply.
• You are curious, responsible, and eager to grow your expertise in product management and fintech security.

• Background or education in computer science, cybersecurity, or information systems.
• Experience working with authentication, access management, or security-focused products.
• Familiarity with OWASP principles ISO 27001, or similar security frameworks.
• Understanding of fintech compliance standards such as PSD2, EBA, or AML directives.
• Previous experience in a scale-up or B2C/B2B2C environment.
