We are seeking a talented Finance Associate / Manager to join our dynamic team in Berlin.

Location: Berlin / Remote possible / 2 days per week in office

Your tasks

Controlling & Reporting

• Design, implement, and maintain a KPI dashboard in collaboration with key stakeholders
• Develop KPI models, validate data, and establish a structured reporting framework
• Build and maintain forecasting models to support planning and decision-making
• Implement and manage tools to streamline spend tracking and approval workflows
• Build and manage budgets and cost structures, aligned with departmental ownership

Operational Finance

• Review and approve incoming invoices and cross-check with contracts/budgets
• Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements (HGB)
• Monitor budgets, perform cost controlling and variance analysis

Requirements

Your Profile

• Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• > 5 years of experience in a finance role (experience in startups/tech/fintech a plus)
• Familiarity with SaaS metrics and reporting tools
• Native German skills & C2 English
• Experience with tools for data extraction, transformation, or visualization is a plus
• Structured, self-motivated team player, and eager to build things from the ground up and most importantly: curious, not judgemental
