Senior Full Stack Engineer (Remote)

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Backend-Leaning) with strong backend architecture and distributed systems experience, combined with solid front-end proficiency in interactive applications. You’ll help scale our platform to millions of players while driving innovation at the intersection of interactive gaming and crypto.

This is a fully remote role. We value autonomy, trust, and flexibility—and expect you to bring energy, ownership, and leadership wherever you work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead backend architecture and design of highly scalable, low-latency distributed systems

Build and optimize Node.js microservices supporting player accounts, wallets, game engines, leader boards, and event-driven features

Ensure performance, reliability, and security of core APIs and services, handling high-throughput transactional workloads.

Design and implement real-time communication (WebSockets, Pub/Sub, and event-driven messaging)

Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, front-end engineers, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end features

Collaborate closely with front-end and product teams to deliver performant, interactive web-based features using React

Implement observability and monitoring to ensure system health and proactive issue resolution.

Drive best practices across code quality, testing, CI/CD, and deployment processes.

Mentor and guide engineers, contributing to team-wide technical excellence and knowledge sharing.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend engineering

Proficiency with Node.js and building scalable back-end services, including real-time systems (WebSockets, multiplayer sync).

Experience with Databases, ideally Postgres

Solid understanding of performance optimization, rendering pipelines, and client-server architecture.

Experience in React for high-performance front-end experiences.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.

Nice-to-Have:

Background in crypto or iGaming

Background in multiplayer gaming, gambling, or iGaming platforms.

Familiarity with game networking protocols, animations, and physics engines.

Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineers.

Knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
