Senior Full-Stack Developer Kotlin & TypeScript (gn)

Your mission

The Bikeleasing Group has grown into a leading corporate group for employer benefits and mobility solutions. It consists of six specialized companies, including a multi-benefit provider (Probonio), leasing and insurance service providers, and retailers for refurbished bikes. With our continuous profitable growth and expansion, we are on an exciting technical transformation journey. For this, we are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer (gn) who will actively shape our technology ecosystem.

• You design and implement new services using Kotlin (Backend) and React (Frontend), and support the further development or redevelopment of existing legacy systems (PHP)
• You take responsibility for modernizing critical business processes , including the migration of core services to a service-oriented architecture with Kotlin/Spring Boot, ensuring a smooth transition
• You actively contribute to shaping the architecture , API landscape , and technical standards to develop scalable and sustainable solutions
• You ensure clean code , testability , and maintainability , conduct c ode reviews , and promote best practices within the team
• You collaborate closely with stakeholders such as the CTO, Tech Lead, Product Owner, etc., actively participate in agile processes , and s upport as well as coach your team members

Your profile

• You have several years of professional experience in software development , either with Kotlin or with Java plus initial exposure or willingness to learn Kotlin - Spring Boot experience is beneficial
• You also have solid knowledge of TypeScript and one or more frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue.js, Next.js) - React preferred
• You have a deep understanding of modern architecture designs , plus D omain-Driven Design (DDD) , and you can effectively apply these principles in development
• You write readable, testable, and clean code and place great importance on high code quality and maintainability
• You have experience in refactoring large applications and can efficiently modernize existing systems
• You are familiar with distributed systems and you have cloud services knowledge , ideally AWS
• While focusing on our new micro-services infrastructure , you are also willing to work on the still existing legacy monolith infrastructure , if needed
• You are a pragmatic problem solver who can balance technical excellence with business requirements
• You have fluent English language skills; German language skills are a plus
• Residency in Germany is required
