Job Description

• Empower and manage a Mobile Native Engineering team consisting of iOS and Android engineers, helping them shape their individual careers and grow the team to become self-organised, agile and autonomous
• Provide technical expertise and share best practices with your team
• Define OKRs with your team which they can deliver on
• Organise, prioritise and achieve business goals with your team and Product
• Be part of the recruitment process to attract your potential new colleagues or team members
• Drive technical discussions and decision-making processes to enhance our Android applications, focusing on performance, efficiency, and scalability
• Lead the design and implementation of innovative features and solutions on our Mobile platforms, ensuring top-quality user experiences
• Manage stakeholders from various feature teams throughout the company to bring new features to life and ensure the continuous improvement of our platform

Qualifications

• A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences, ...) or a comparable qualification
• Profound experience with at least one Mobile native platform, either
  • Android development (Kotlin, RxJava, Compose, Coroutines) and/or
  • iOS development (Swift, UIKit, Autolayout)
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, leading high-performing engineering teams in the successful delivery of complex software projects
• Experience in hiring and building diverse engineering teams, attracting top talent, and fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and make informed judgments in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Prior Fintech experience is not a requirement, but an asset. Ideally, you’re interested in investing or already a customer of Scalable Capital.
• Experience using agents (e.g., Codex or similar AI-assisted development tools) is a plus.
