Senior DevOps Engineer

We’re building the kind of tech infrastructure that makes that possible. Our platform is scaling fast, and we’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in Berlin and help us keep things smooth, secure, and seriously efficient.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and improve the cloud infrastructure that powers our global Trade Finance platform — built on Kubernetes , Docker , and AWS

• Support our Business Intelligence infrastructure so data flows fast and clean

• Enhance monitoring, alerting, and logging with tools like Prometheus , Grafana , PagerDuty , EFK , and Graylog

• Handle production incidents, drive resolution, and write clear postmortems (RCAs)

• Keep our CI/CD pipelines in top shape, follow DevOps best practices, and work closely with our dev teams to make deployment as smooth as possible

• Manage and evolve our Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform , Ansible , and Packer

• Take part in technical decisions that shape how we build, run, and scale our systems

• Occasionally jump in to support the office network and help with client support issues when needed — we’re a startup, after all

• You'll participate in Engineering decisions to further improve our infrastructure and processes.

Requirements

What you bring

• Solid hands-on experience in DevOps , Cloud Engineering , and Release Engineering — ideally in a microservices SaaS environment

• You're a Linux wizard — from automation and troubleshooting to fine-grained tuning

• Deep understanding of internet plumbing: , DNS , TCP/IP , SSL

• You know how to design production infrastructure that’s resilient, secure, and cost-effective

• You’ve worked extensively with Kubernetes — from orchestration and scaling to monitoring and recovery

• You’re a confident scripter in Bash and Python

• You’ve run both SQL and NoSQL databases in production — like PostgreSQL , Redis , or MongoDB

• You love to build great things together with your team and you have excellent communication skills.

• You are a highly reliable person and you like to take ownership for your work and a fast learner.

• Nice to Have

• Professional training or certification in cloud/sysadmin/devops/infosec

• Background in information security

• Knowledge in the management of Apache Kafka clusters
