Data Analytics Engineer (all genders)

We are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer/Sr. Data Analyst to join our dynamic team, where you will play a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction of our marketing, product development, and monetization efforts through data-driven insights. As a key member of our data analytics team, you will leverage your expertise to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets, uncovering actionable insights that drive growth and efficiency across the company.

Tasks

• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets related to marketing, in-app events, product, and monetization metrics to uncover actionable insights.
• Work closely with stakeholders across departments, including marketing, product management, finance, and data engineering, to align on objectives, share insights, and drive collaborative initiatives
• Model core datasets by transforming raw data into reliable, well documented and reusable datasets that capture key business KPIs, but also allows product analysts to derive recommendations for future product improvements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for tracking and monitoring key performance metrics.
• Conduct A/B testing, cohort analysis, and segmentation to help optimize user acquisition, product development and monetization efforts.
• Participate in collaborations with external machine learning projects to enhance data capabilities and implement cutting-edge analytical techniques, contributing to the development of innovative solutions that drive user engagement and business growth.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques, enhancing the ability to conduct sophisticated data analyses and provide deeper insights into user behavior and business performance.
• Familiarity with user attribution methodologies for different platforms.

Requirements

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, etc.
• Proven experience (5 years) in data analyst roles, preferably within the B2C app industry or mobile gaming industry.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau, with a strong track record of creating intuitive dashboards and reports that communicate key metrics and trends to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, draw meaningful conclusions, and communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Familiarity with mobile analytics platforms (e.g. Adjust, Firebase) supporting effective measurement of user acquisition and engagement efforts.
• A passion for and understanding of the mobile app and mobile gaming industry, including market trends and player behavior.
