Our engineering department plays a crucial role in building and enhancing the core components of our business — especially our marketplace platform. Working with cutting-edge technologies like Next.js, React.js, Redux, Symphony, Node.js, AWS Lambda, AWS SQS/SNS, and Flutter, we are continually improving the product to provide our users with a unique experience.

As part of one of seven cross-functional teams, you'll collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to shape the future of our marketplace. • Collaborate with Product, UX/UI Designers, and Engineers to design, scope, and implement complex user-facing features that go beyond traditional e-commerce solutions.
• Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle — from architectural design to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Own your individual code base and ensure the creation of scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Write clean, efficient JavaScript/HTML/CSS that adheres to the best practices and coding standards.
• Develop unit and integration tests for your code to ensure reliability and stability of the platform.
• Lead by example in applying frontend guidelines (e.g., Atomic Design) and best practices, while mentoring junior engineers.
• Actively participate in product and feature discovery sessions with our Product Managers to refine the requirements and user stories.
• Support in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering culture, with a focus on knowledge sharing, innovation, and transparency.

• 3+ years of experience building highly scalable, consumer-facing web applications in e-commerce or a product based company.
• Strong proficiency in React, Redux, TypeScript, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and modern JS libraries.
• Solid experience in writing unit tests and integration tests.
• Familiar with UX design principles and working closely with UX/UI teams to implement intuitive user interfaces.
• Experience with or a willingness to learn about CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in English; paired with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment with global stakeholders.
• You are a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, solve problems, and meet deadlines independently while contributing to the overall team's success.

• Full transparency: For this role, we have a salary band between 55,600€ and 68,500€ gross per year. The salary that we will offer you will always be within this span and is based on the skills that you show during the recruitment process.
