️ About the Role
This is an Account Executive role for someone early in their sales career who wants to develop fast, in a high-expectation environment, working directly alongside the founders.
You'll own opportunities across the full sales cycle: from discovery to close. That includes preparing and delivering compelling product demos to prospects. You don't need to be an engineer, but you do need to be genuinely curious about how software works, comfortable getting into the details of our platform, and confident enough to make it come alive in front of a CFO or Sustainability Director.
Carbon accounting and climate tech are topics you're either already familiar with, or ones you're genuinely excited to learn. This space moves fast, and we need someone who can upskill quickly and speak credibly about what we do.
Hybrid in Berlin — the full commercial team works from the office 3–4 days a week.
What You’ll do
Own opportunities across the full cycle: discovery, progression, and closing.
Prepare and deliver high-quality product demos tailored to each prospect's context and pain points.
Build and develop your own pipeline alongside SDR-generated leads.
Work closely with the founders on live deals: strategy, preparation, and follow-through.
Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes at enterprise accounts.

Represent Cozero at customer meetings and events.
Adapt quickly as the product and go-to-market continue to evolve
⭐Must-Haves:
At least one previous role with real commercial or customer-facing exposure.
B2B Enterprise SaaS experience .
Tech curiosity , you don't need to be a developer, but you enjoy exploring software, learning how it works, and translating that into clear value for prospects.
Climate / Sustainability knowledge , you have direct professional or academic experience in sustainability, carbon accounting, ESG, or climate strategy, and can speak credibly to customers on these topics from day one.
Genuine curiosity and a strong desire to keep learning .
Good business judgment, understand financial logic and can speak the language of operators.
Confidence to ask probing, uncomfortable questions in a sales conversation.
A proactive, outgoing approach to office collaboration, customer meetings, and events.
Comfort operating without a script in an environment that's still being built.
Fluent in German and English (C1 is required), with an expectation to conduct customer meetings and presentations in German.

Where You'll Work
Hybrid - Berlin office, 3–4 days per week. The full commercial team works this way.
Compensation & Benefits
€55,000 – €75,000 per year base + commission (double OTE) , (varies by experience).
We publish our salary bands publicly so everyone, including our team, can see we're being fair and transparent. During interviews, we'll talk through where you'd land in this range based on your experience and where you're based.
27 vacation days + 1 day life event leave (wedding, birth of child etc.) + national holidays (Depends on location)
