The role

We're building out our gym network faster than ever, and we need someone to own the operational and technical layer that sits between architectural decisions and physical execution.

You'll work closely with the Principal Engineer (who defines the architecture and drives R&D) and the Rollout Specialist (who leads on-site physical delivery). Your job is to own everything in between: planning the network for new locations, managing procurement and inventory, configuring and maintaining devices across the estate, and acting as the technical hands for R&D hardware testing.

This is a hands-on, field-adjacent role. You'll be on-site regularly, working with contractors, coordinating with the Ops and Expansion teams, and ensuring that every gym we open or retrofit is wired correctly and properly configured.

What you'll own

• Network planning — in coordination with Ops, Expansion, and Product, plan network cabling for new gym openings and retrofits
• Contractor oversight — review and validate cabling work performed by external contractors or the internal construction team
• Field technical support — provide direct technical guidance to the Rollout Specialist during installations and retrofits
• Procurement & inventory — manage device procurement and inventory, ensuring the right equipment is purchased, tracked, and utilized effectively
• Device configuration & maintenance — configure and maintain network and devices across the estate
• R&D support — act as the technical hands for equipment testing: procurement coordination, environment setup, and test execution

You have: 

• Solid understanding of structured cabling standards, cable management, and termination practices
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network equipment (Ubiquiti UniFi or equivalent)
• Comfortable configuring network devices: switches, access points, routers, VLANs, and firewall rules
• Experience managing hardware procurement and maintaining an inventory of network and computing equipment
• Ability to read and interpret network plans, floor layouts, and cabling schematics
• Practical problem-solver, you're comfortable on-site, under time pressure, and working with contractors and non-technical teams
• English proficiency (written and spoken)

Nice to have:

• Experience with IoT device management or embedded/edge hardware
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems (SSH, basic CLI)
• Exposure to network monitoring or observability tooling
• Experience in a multi-site or retail/hospitality environment
• Any relevant network certification
• German proficiency
