What? [You'll be doing] 👀

We are looking for a Business Development & Automation Working Student to join our team. This isn't a "watch from the sidelines" role; you'll be instrumental in both technical efficiency and business expansion. You will help us scale by automating internal workflows and driving our Sales, Growth, and Marketing activities to identify and capture new opportunities.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment of startups and scale-ups, where your automations and commercial efforts directly translate to saved hours and increased revenue.

Your responsibilities:

• Business Development & Event Support: Actively support the Business Development team in lead generation, market research, and preparing compelling materials for client meetings. You will also assist in organizing and coordinating company events (e.g., Climate tech panels) to boost brand awareness and engagement.
• Workflow Automation: Design and implement small-scale scripts/tools (using n8n, Python and APIs) to automate manual internal workflows, improving efficiency across sales and operations tasks.
• Technical BizDev Support: Leverage data analysis, CRM automation, and AI tools to help the Business Development team identify, qualify, and track potential leads smart and efficiently.
• Process Optimization: Analyze our current ways of working and pitch/implement technical solutions to make us leaner and faster.

Requirements

Who are you?:🚶‍♀️

• The Pragmatic Builder: You’re likely a student in a technical or business- field of study who prefers doing over theorizing and getting things done.
• Commercial & Growth-Oriented: You have a keen interest in business development, sales, and marketing. You don't just write code; you understand why it matters for the business and how your work contributes directly to company growth and efficiency.
• Agile & Proactive: You thrive in small teams where you can take ownership. You identify problems (manual processes or growth bottlenecks) and propose technical solutions.
• Communicator & Networker: You are fluent in English and can clearly explain technical solutions to non-technical team members, as well as comfortably engage with clients and event attendees.

Nice to have:

• You know your way around Python and aren't afraid to dive into API documentation to make different software systems talk to each other. You see manual processes as opportunities to build clever, small-scale automation tools.
