Over the last years, our product & engineering teams have built simpleshow.com – a web application that empowers users to create and customize explainer videos almost fully automatically based on a text script. The platform is used worldwide by enterprise clients and individual creators alike.

To take as much work as possible off our users’ shoulders, we integrate modern AI services from different providers (including OpenAI) and combine them with our own innovations. We continuously refine the user experience with usability testing and a contemporary UX/UI design system, so that creating high-quality videos feels intuitive, fast, and even a bit magical.

💡 About the role and your impact

We’re looking for a motivated (Senior) Frontend Developer (m/f/d) to join our simpleshow Video Maker team. In this cross-functional team, you’ll shape the future of our platform with your code, ideas, and eye for UX.

Work on a feature-rich, visually driven frontend with complex UI flows, real-time interactions, AI integrations, and a constantly evolving design system – no two features are the same.

In this role you will:

• 🚀 Develop new features for the simpleshow Video Maker from idea to production.
• 🛠️ Help shape the roadmap with your enthusiasm, knowledge, and ideas.
• 💡 Take ownership of features end-to-end and improve our engineering processes
• 🤝 Work closely with Product Owner & QA to deliver high-quality software.
• 🌟 Be a role model for best practices in frontend development and modern web technologies.

💡 About the role and your impact

• 3+ years of experience building highly scalable, maintainable frontend applications
• Flexible & solution-oriented, tackling new challenges pragmatically
• Hands-on experience integrating AI technologies meaningfully into your work
• Experience with backend technologies and understanding frontend-backend interactions
• Strong appreciation for well-structured application architecture and practical know-how to implement it
• Expert in Angular, modern web technologies, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization
• Familiar with state management (Redux/NgRx) and Git

Nice-to-have / Plus:

• Experience with AI-driven or generative AI applications
  
• Exposure to backend systems, APIs, or microservices architecture
