UI Engineer (f/m/d) - AI

Remote in our day-to-day work. On-site when it matters.
We work remote by default – focused, efficient, and with full ownership. For larger features, architectural decisions, and real brainstorming sessions, we come together in Berlin – fast, hands-on, and without unnecessary meeting overhead.

We use AI to accelerate – not to replace thinking.

Your mission

You stopped coding. And that’s exactly why we want you.

• Own the UI layer – from vision to production. Don’t just write components – shape how our product feels and behaves.

• Architect and build production-grade frontends for AI agent products using React and Next.js.

• Design interaction patterns for natural language and agent-driven interfaces – create what doesn’t exist yet.

• Work closely on UX and product thinking – understand the “why” behind what you build.

• Translate business requirements into clear, scalable product decisions.

• Establish frontend best practices : architecture, testing, and quality standards.

• Move fast with AI as a tool – and ensure everything you ship meets a production-ready standard.

Your skills

• Bring deep experience shipping real applications. Make confident decisions on architecture, performance, and scalability.

• Embrace an AI-native workflow. Use AI to accelerate your work, but stay in control of quality, structure, and output.

• Develop and apply your own system for building production-ready code with AI.

• Think in products, not just in code. Understand context, challenge assumptions, and take ownership of outcomes.

• Maintain a high quality bar. Write tests, review thoroughly, and keep architecture clean – even when moving fast.

• Optional: Work with AI-first interfaces. Build conversational UIs, agent-driven experiences, or natural language interactions – and understand what works in practice.
