Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Climate FinTech, we at Bees & Bears believe that capital is the key to accelerating the energy transition. The challenge we face is enormous: by 2050, €150 trillion (!) must be nvested worldwide to achieve climate neutrality. 65% of these investments need to be financed through loans.

We have recently secured a €500 million financing line, which we will now use to expand enewable energy! Our mission is to channel this capital into the sustainable economy to accelerate the transformation and make the world greener. We work closely with installers of green hardware such as energy storage systems, solar panels, and heat pumps to enable their customers to pay a small monthly fee instead of investing tens of thousands of euros upfront.

Our software helps make financing as easy as buying a smartphone with a few clicks. This way, we massively accelerate the expansion of renewable energy, strengthen the skilled trades sector, and make green energy accessible to everyone who would otherwise shy away from high investment costs.

Tasks

We are looking for a highly ambitious individual to join the cockpit of Bees & Bears senior engineering team at an absolutely exciting time.

Your Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the architecture, design, development and deployment of
  scalable web applications using modern technologies and best development
  practices
• Work autonomously and contribute to architectural decisions alongside your senior
  team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build impactful solutions for the climate
  sector
• Improve development workflow and contribute to building an efficient,
  high-performance engineering culture

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, React 19, TanStack Query, React Router
  7 (or TanStack Router)
  
• Experience in developing complex forms using react-hook-form and zod while
  ensuring a responsive and frictionless user journey
  
• Proficiency in Tailwind CSS and modern UI development practices
• Strong english skills (C1)
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in an autonomous environment
• Interest in working on solutions that have a positive impact on the climate sector
