Founder's Associate

About the Role

This is a founding-stage, hands-on role at a fast-growing preventive healthtech startup based in Berlin. You'll work directly with the founders to move ideas into production quickly, automate away manual work using AI and code, and build repeatable, measurable systems that improve member outcomes in a regulated health context.

The engagement is structured as a 3–6 month commitment with strong potential for conversion to a full-time position based on fit. There is no bureaucracy here — just high ownership, fast shipping, and real impact.

What You'll Do

• Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the founding team in a low-bureaucracy environment to ship ideas quickly.

• Automate and eliminate manual operations work using AI, code, and clean processes — not manage tasks by hand.

• Own customer onboarding and technical setup to move members efficiently through the funnel.

• Run operations and help acquire blood testing locations across Germany.

• Recruit, onboard, and schedule mobile field staff (e.g. mobile nurses).

• Manage customer support and concierge workflows, including member requests and personalised action plans.

• Oversee lab logistics including sample flow, shipping, and escalations (e.g. driver no-shows, lab changes).

• Structure pipelines for product and sales to surface member feedback and patterns to the team.

• Build internal tools and automations using AI agents, n8n, Retool, Zapier , and LLM APIs (Claude/GPT).

• Track operational KPIs with SQL (cycle times, error rates, stockouts) and turn ad hoc processes into measurable systems.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Strong ownership mindset and bias to action — hands-on, structured, and process-driven.

• Proven ability to turn manual processes into automated, measurable, repeatable systems.

• Experience recruiting, onboarding, and scheduling field staff and managing logistics operations.

• Technically capable: comfortable with basic SQL, APIs, and no-/low-code tools such as Lovable, Retool, or n8n.

• AI-native working style: daily use of tools like Claude, GPT, or Cursor; automation-first mindset.

• Strong German and English communication skills (both are required).

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a similar field (studying or graduated).

• Evidence of side projects, prototypes, or open-source work (e.g. GitHub portfolio).

Nice to have:

• Experience in healthtech or regulated environments.

• Exposure to early-stage or founding-stage startup environments.
