Position

Drive Ambio’s commercial growth in Germany. You’ll turn qualified leads into long-term customers, manage every stage from first call to signed deal, and use what you learn from the market to shape how we sell. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility for building our presence in Germany.

You'll be selling recycled polymers to plastic converters: a market where price moves weekly, specs matter, and trust is built over the phone and site visits rather than over email. No prior plastics experience needed, but you should be someone who enjoys getting deep into a technical product.

Tasks

What you'll do:

• Turn leads into wins: Convert a steady flow of provided leads into long-term, repeat customers.
• Seal the deal: Present tailored material solutions, build customized offers, and negotiate terms to close.
• Learn the material: Get fluent in polymer grades, specs, and quality trade-offs so you can advise buyers rather than just quote them.
• Shape the strategy: Expand our German pipeline, identify untapped segments, and use insights from customer conversations to sharpen how we sell.

Requirements

Signs you'd be a great fit:

• Sales experience: You have some B2B sales experience, but your potential and motivation to grow matter more than the length of your CV. Startup experience and being comfortable explaining complex or technical products is a plus.
• Outbound : You’re comfortable picking up the phone, creating opportunities, and following up until there’s a clear answer.
• Commercial instinct: You're comfortable negotiating on price and volume, and you can hold a margin without losing the relationship.
• Languages: Fluent German and English. Polish, Italian, or Spanish is a plus.
• Ownership: You take responsibility for results and can run your own pipeline without being managed into it.
