Our client is a campaigning agency that aims to defend democracy on social media. thier goal is to achieve a shift in the online discourse to counteract right-wing propaganda.
They are supporting pro-democratic initiatives from small to large, from local to international in their efforts in campaigning, community building, strategy, messaging, and analytics.

The growing tech team is at the core of the strategy as they are building the future of video-based digital campaigning for platforms like TikTok.

We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Engineer (m/f/d) to join the dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Python, JavaScript as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud services like GCP.

Tasks

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying robust solutions that align with technical and operational objectives. You'll contribute to high-impact projects in a collaborative environment.

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Build a Real-Time Analytics Dashboard to track campaign impact
• Develop an Automated Content Moderation System to ensure safe and constructive discourse
• Implement responsive frontend interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and ensure system reliability
• Deploy and optimize applications on cloud platforms
• Utilize Docker for containerization and orchestration
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code following best practices
• Monitor and improve performance, security, and scalability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development and production

Requirements

• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, JS, CSS, react.js, next.js
• Strong knowledge of back-end development using Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, experience in GCP, GitLab, IT Security, and Linux
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Experience working in Agile development environments
