AI Artist (2D Generalist)
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys experimenting, iterating quickly, and taking ownership of the final visual quality. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create high-quality 2D game assets using AI-driven workflows, including characters, environments, UI elements, icons, and marketing creatives.
- Use generative AI tools to explore visual directions, generate artwork, and rapidly iterate on designs.
- Refine AI-generated assets manually when needed, ensuring visual consistency, readability, and production quality.
- Prepare and implement game assets in Unity, leveraging AI tools throughout the process.
- Collaborate with game designers and developers to understand requirements and deliver visuals aligned with gameplay needs.
- Contribute to both live mobile games and new prototypes, incorporating feedback and improving assets quickly.
- Professional experience creating art for mobile games.
- Advanced, hands-on experience using generative AI tools and AI-driven workflows for art production.
- Strong artistic fundamentals, including composition, color, shape, style, and visual consistency.
- Ability to identify weaknesses in AI-generated artwork and improve results through iteration and manual adjustments.
- Experience with 2D art production tools and familiarity with Unity.
- Good understanding of mobile game visuals, including readability on small screens, character appeal, UI clarity, and progression rewards.
- Comfortable working with AI tools such as Claude, Codex, and other generative AI solutions.
- Strong communication skills, creative problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with designers and developers.
- A portfolio showcasing both AI-generated artwork and traditional artistic skills, ideally including examples of the creative and refinement process.

The current team consists of approximately 10 people across development, product, game design, art, QA, marketing, and creative production. The team works in weekly sprints, with ideas moving quickly from discussion to implementation.
