About This Role:

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue.js) to join our Engineering team in Berlin or working remotely from Germany. At Atolls, your role will be instrumental in helping us enhance Atolls’ frontend platforms by migrating legacy systems to Vue 3 and improving performance, scalability, and user experience, empowering consumers to make informed and confident shopping decisions. As a key part of our team, you’ll be directly involved in building and enhancing the digital destinations our users rely on throughout their shopping journeys.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain reusable, high-quality Vue.js components and user interfaces.
• Implement the migration of our codebase from legacy systems like Twig and Vue 2 to Vue 3.
• Integrate with GraphQL APIs for efficient data fetching and seamless front-end to back-end communication.
• Oversee code quality through rigorous testing, adherence to best practices, and clean architecture.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers in an agile team environment.

Your Profile:

We’re looking for someone with experience building responsive web applications with Vue.js (2/3), including component development, framework migrations (Vue 2 → Vue 3) and GraphQL API integration for scalable e-commerce platforms, who is dedicated to creating exceptional user experiences and driving innovation.

• You have 6+ years of experience as a Software Developer.
• Technical Skills: Vue.js (2/3), TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, Webpack, Vite, Git, GraphQL.
• Soft Skills: Collaboration, Problem-solving, Team communication, Continuous learning, Code documentation, Cross-functional alignment.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
