Junior AI & Data Consultant (m/w/d)

As a Junior AI & Data Consultant (m/f/d) , you will dive into hands-on project work from day one, supporting our teams across the entire engagement lifecycle. Working closely alongside management, you will assist in identifying client needs and help formulate initial data-driven recommendations. This role is the perfect launchpad to build your strategic and technological foundation in real-world environments.

What you will do:

• Client advisory & strategy support: Assist in identifying client needs through stakeholder interviews, translating complex operational challenges into data-driven recommendations that support business transformation.
• Data & analysis acceleration: Collect, structure, and synthesize client data to uncover actionable insights. You will work with a modern, AI-native toolstack - from LLM environments (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to coding assistants - accelerating data preparation and clearly presenting findings to the team.
• Project delivery & module ownership: Take proactive ownership of defined project workstreams and deliverables, ensuring high-quality and timely execution while working closely with management and technical squads (Data Scientists and Engineers).
• Data & AI solutions: Contribute to designing data strategies, mapping out AI use cases, and supporting the formulation of governance frameworks and roadmap implementations.
• Knowledge sharing & continuous learning: Actively participate in internal training programs and global workshops, staying ahead of digital and applied AI trends to continuously develop your skills and enrich our practice team.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: You are a recent graduate or a professional with up to 2 years of initial experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or data/tech environments (including strong internships). A basic track record or demonstrable exposure to data analytics, cloud, or AI projects is a strong plus.
• Education: A completed university degree (Bachelor’s or Master's) from a business school or university in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable quantitative field.
• Data & AI Affinity: A strong natural affinity for data management, technology trends, and modern AI. You are excited to learn how Generative AI, LLMs, and machine learning can solve real-world business problems.
• Business & Analytical Mindset: You possess strong quantitative and structured problem-solving skills, with a passion for breaking down complex tasks and transforming data into strategic solutions.
• Technical skills: You are confident working with PowerPoint/Google Slides and Excel/Google Sheets to produce clean deliverables. You are enthusiastic about leveraging modern AI tools and agentic environments to run analyses and accelerate daily execution. Knowledge of SQL or Python is welcome but not required.
• Communication & Collaboration: You can communicate structural topics clearly in both German and English. You thrive in dynamic, cross-functional team settings and enjoy collaborating with diverse technical and business roles.
• Personal attributes: You are proactive, structured, autonomous, and solution-oriented, with a high degree of empathy for client needs and an eager-to-learn mindset.
• Languages: Business-fluent German and English (both written and spoken) are mandatory to participate in client workshops and deliver polished presentations.
• Work Eligibility: A valid work permit for Germany.
