Mini Job - Social Media Content Creator

42 Berlin is a disruptive higher education NGO training up to 600 students to become cutting-edge software engineers in a practice-based gamified peer-learning environment.

Our model is based on the internationally successful concept of Ecole 42, which was founded in 2013 in Paris and now trains more than 18,000 students in 50+ schools across the globe.

At 42 Berlin we set out to educate the next generation of German software engineers to build a digital future together.

Tasks

As Student Assistant - Social Media Content Creator, you will produce engaging content for our Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube channels, helping us showcase campus life, student stories, and events to the world. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Produce and post-produce content for Instagram posts, stories, and YouTube Shorts (~6h/week)
• Create and edit short-form videos for TikTok (~1h/week)
• Take photos at campus events to document and promote community life (~1h/week)
• Maintain a consistent visual identity in line with 42 Berlin's brand
• Collaborate with the team to align content with upcoming campaigns and events

Requirements

• Photography and video editing skills
• Familiarity with Instagram and TikTok editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Muse, or similar)
• Reliable, creative, and detail-oriented personality
• Alignment with our values (inclusive and open-minded)
• Interest in tech, education, or startup culture
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English
• Right to live and work in Germany
