Working Student AI Engineering (m/f/d) - Berlin & Remote

DrAnsay is one of Europe’s fastest-growing digital healthcare platforms, serving hundreds of thousands of patients through telemedicine services such as digital prescriptions, medical certificates, and online consultations.

Our next step is building AI-native healthcare infrastructure . We integrate Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), and automation systems into healthcare workflows to improve patient communication, automate medical processes, and scale digital healthcare services.

To support this mission, we are looking for a Working Student – AI Engineering (m/f/d) who wants to work on real AI systems in production.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Working Student in AI Engineering, you will collaborate with our engineering team on real AI systems used in digital healthcare:

• AI systems and automation
  You support the development of AI-powered workflows using large language models, contribute to automation tools for internal medical processes, and help build intelligent systems that improve patient communication and operations.

• AI knowledge systems and data
  You assist in building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for medical knowledge, support AI-based document processing, and work with data pipelines used in healthcare applications.

• AI prototyping and experimentation
  You help test new AI models, frameworks, and tools, and build prototypes for new AI features and automation workflows within our platform.

• Engineering and integration
  You support the integration of AI services into backend systems and APIs and collaborate on scalable AI infrastructure for telemedicine products.

Your Profile:

• Currently studying Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field

• Strong Python skills

• First experience with machine learning, NLP, or large language models

• Interest in AI agents, automation, and generative AI

• Structured, hands-on working style

• Availability to work 15–20 hours per week

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex

• Experience with PyTorch or other machine learning frameworks

• Backend or API development experience

• Personal AI projects or open-source contributions
