As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer (Backend-Leaning) to join our Core team and help build the technology powering one of the world's fastest growing crypto casinos.

You'll work across backend services, APIs, real-time systems, databases, and interactive web experiences. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving challenging problems, taking ownership of their work, and developing their skills while working on a product
operating at significant global scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and maintain scalable backend services supporting player accounts, wallets, games, leaderboards, and other core platform features

• Develop and optimize Node.js microservices and APIs

• Work with distributed systems and event-driven architectures

• Build and maintain real-time functionality using WebSockets, Pub/Sub, and messaging systems

• Develop performant and interactive web experiences using React

• Work with PostgreSQL and Redis to build reliable, high-performance data systems

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, front-end engineers, and DevOps to deliver features from concept through to production

• Monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of the systems you work on

• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code

• Contribute to code reviews and engineering best practices

• Help improve our CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and development processes

• Investigate production issues and contribute to effective, long-term solutions

• Take ownership of projects and features while working closely with more senior engineers on technical direction

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong experience with Node.js and backend development

• Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services

• Good understanding of databases, ideally PostgreSQL

• Experience with React and modern front-end development

• Familiarity with real-time systems such as WebSockets

• Understanding of asynchronous and event-driven architectures

• Experience working with CI/CD and modern development workflows

• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of your work

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a remote team

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in crypto or iGaming

• Background in gaming, gambling, or iGaming platforms

• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems

• Familiarity with game networking, animations, or interactive applications

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS

• Experience with PixiJS or similar rendering/game frameworks

• Experience working with high-traffic or high-throughput platforms
