(Senior) Product Designer (f/m/d)

Nox is aiming to become the best alternative to short-haul flights by soon offering premium overnight trains across Europe. With a radically redesigned interior and onboard experience, people travel in style, saving time being asleep. As a (Senior) Product Designer (f/m/d) , you will shape the end-to-end customer journey—designing seamless experiences across digital and physical touchpoints while aligning teams and ensuring consistency and quality.

Tasks

• Own the journey: Lead customer experience from initial inspiration to post-trip, mapping and continuously improving every touchpoint across passengers, crew, and back-office operations.
• Lead the experience: Design, develop, and ship cohesive experiences across digital and physical product lines, combining user research with strong product vision.
• Translate complexity into clarity: Turn the complexity of night train operations like scheduling, logistics, and partner integrations, into consistent, and seamless user experiences.
• Maintain consistency and Quality: With a holistic view across all touchpoints, proactively identify gaps and inconsistencies, resolving them before they become costly problems.

Requirements

• You have around 5+ years of experience in product design, service design, UX design. Experience in hospitality, mobility or consumer services are a strong plus.
• You are an aesthetically-oriented thinker who can empathise with a wide range of customers and users of the Nox environment, even if outside of your own thoughts
• You think in journeys and systems, feeling equally comfortable to map a service blueprint as well as challenging interaction flow
• You communicate with clarity and conviction, able to align product, engineering and operations around a shared experience vision, calling out uncomfortable gaps as they appear.
• You thrive in cross-functional roles, whether it’s shadowing crews over night or untangling a complicated backend-workflow
