You’ll be part of the Finance team at the center of our Business Support Services (BSS) at DCMN. This means working closely with teams from Business Intelligence, Legal, People, and IT—joining cross-functional projects, expanding your skills, and seeing the bigger business picture. As a core member of our Finance team, you’ll experience incredible team collaboration, learn from ex-Big4, ex-tax office, and client-side pros, and bring your own expertise to the table.

You Will Be Working in:

German and English. Fluency in both is required. Additional languages (e.g., French) are a welcome asset!

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Master Core Accounting: Manage all steps of the accounts payable process—vendor invoices, employee expenses, credit card and bank transactions. Yes, you’ll still spot mistakes before anyone else. We actually appreciate it!
• Drive Financial Operations: Oversee daily cash management and payment runs, ensuring everything aligns with our cash flow forecasts and group policies. No more fixing client disasters at the last minute.
• Ensure Flawless Closings: Support monthly and annual financial closings according to German GAAP (HGB) and assist with annual audits. Our deadlines come with teamwork, not panic.
• Manage Tax Compliance: Complete and submit VAT declarations for our German and Dutch entities—timely and with support, not last-minute stress.
• Be the AP Point of Contact: Respond to accounts payable questions from vendors and internal teams about invoices, payments, or policies. (Spoiler: everyone actually does their part here.)
• Innovate and Improve: Spot a weak process or clunky system? Your ideas matter and make a real difference.
• Grow and Develop: Take part in our Finance and Business Intelligence job rotation, building new skills and expanding your understanding of the company.

Skills You’ll Need to Be Successful:

• A degree or completed commercial education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience in a dynamic financial accounting role within an accounting team in Germany or for a German employer
• Solid knowledge of G erman GAAP (HGB); IFRS know-how is a plus.
• Highly organized, independent, and structured work style with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; Microsoft Business Central 365 experience is a significant advantage.
• A collaborative spirit and genuine appreciation for working with diverse, international teams.
• A sense of humor (especially about accounting life).
