About koppla
At koppla, we're a fun and ambitious team on a mission to help the construction industry build more efficiently. We're already partnering with top construction companies and delivering impressive results for our customers (multi-months speed-ups discovered through koppla). Our ambitions are backed by leading VCs (Earlybird, Newion)and industry angels as we tackle a billion-dollar opportunity problem in an underdigitized and underserved market. Our culture is core to who we are and we've built one we're genuinely proud of. We aspire to create an environment of few but very high-performing team members (similar to Netflix or Ashby ).
What you'll be doing
You will work with a small, high-performing team of engineers, another product designer, product managers, a UX researcher and product leadership. Together, you’ll deliver an outstanding product experience to our customers in the construction industry.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Collaborate closely with engineers and PMs to design solutions in rapid iteration cycles. You’ll be working in the open, sharing early, and aligning daily while balancing user value with business and technical constraints.
- Work in project teams where the constellation changes from project to project. You’ll be the sole designer on a project, with engineers and a PM, and you’ll need to move fast and independently.
- Design and deliver impactful product features, owning the process from ideation to final handoff. Iterate on design in the open, and help create a culture where anyone feels comfortable pitching product and UI ideas.
- Use and contribute to our design system that powers koppla - from iconography to colors, tokens, and components - ensuring our UI is built as a cohesive system.
- Develop a deep understanding of the construction domain and our customers’ needs, and incorporate a user-centered perspective into everything we ship.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools and AI - proactively bringing new ideas to the team.
