Refurbishment Process & Infrastructure Manager (f/m/x)

Our Production Department is the heart of the supply chain behind the digital used car buying experience at AUTO1 – from the professional refurbishment and reconditioning of vehicles to delivery to our private customers via Glass-Truck or pick-up at one of our locations. We work quickly, data-driven, and efficiently – but we want more! Join our team as a Project Manager and actively shape the future of digital automotive retail by challenging existing processes, identifying optimization potential, and impressing with your negotiation skills and professional expertise.

Work closely with our team at the Berlin headquarters and with key interfaces throughout Germany to realize our vision of seamless, transparent, and customer-oriented vehicle refurbishment together.

Job Description

• Continuous Process Optimization:
  You analyze existing refurbishment processes in our production centers, identify improvement opportunities along the value chain (e.g., vehicle preparation, quality control, logistics), and independently develop and implement measures to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.

• Development and Expansion of Infrastructure:
  You plan and oversee the expansion of our production sites, coordinate cross-location projects for standardization, and work closely with operations, logistics, and facility management to ensure the smooth integration of new technologies.

• Needs and Cost-Benefit Analyses:
  You prepare detailed analyses of the need for technical equipment, evaluate investments in terms of cost-effectiveness, and support the selection and procurement of new equipment in close coordination with purchasing.

• Implementation of New Software Solutions:
  You are responsible for introducing digital tools for collecting and evaluating production KPIs, optimizing the visualization of production flows through appropriate software, and creating interfaces to existing systems to ensure seamless information flow.

Qualifications

• You have a degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, business informatics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field of study.
• You have an affinity for entrepreneurship, digital business models, and/or the automotive industry.
• You have an analytical, systematic approach to work, think in terms of processes, and demonstrate a high degree of independence.
• You are results-oriented and keep a cool head during analytical thinking processes, enabling you to improve and simplify processes.
• You are highly flexible and willing to travel to implement projects on site.
• Fluent German and English skills are a must-have!
